Since 1980, Behavior Management Consultants (BMC) has provided ABA therapy in Tallahassee to support children, adults, and families through personalized behavioral services designed to meet real-life needs. Services
A behavior assessment is a careful review of skills, routines, and challenges across home, school, or clinic settings. The results guide an individualized plan that focuses on meaningful goals and positive support strategies.
Parent training gives families tools and guidance to support learning and positive behavior at home. Our team partners with caregivers to make strategies easy to understand and use in daily life.
Direct ABA therapy provides one-to-one support focused on building meaningful skills and positive behaviors. Services are delivered by trained staff in clinic, home, school, or community settings and are tailored to each individual’s goals and daily routines.
BCBA supervision ensures all services are guided by experienced clinicians who develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed. Ongoing oversight helps maintain quality, consistency, and individualized support across all settings.
Adult services provide individualized behavior support through home, day program, and community settings. Services focus on building functional skills, promoting independence, and supporting meaningful participation in everyday life.

Settings
We offer clinic-based ABA therapy and autism services for children from infancy through elementary school. Children receive one-to-one applied behavior analysis therapy from RBTs, with ongoing supervision from BCBAs, in a structured and supportive environment. We also provide parent training to help families apply behavior strategies beyond the clinic.
Our school-based ABA services provide behavioral support in educational settings, delivered by RBTs with BCBA oversight. Services are individualized, data-driven, and designed to support academic engagement, social development, and positive classroom behavior through collaboration with school teams.
Our home-based ABA services provide individualized behavior analysis support in the child’s home, delivered by RBTs with BCBA oversight. Services focus on building functional skills, supporting positive behavior, and partnering with families through ongoing parent training.
Our community-based ABA services provide behavioral support in community settings, delivered by RBTs with BCBA oversight. Services are individualized, data-driven, and designed to support community engagement and social development through collaboration with caregivers and community members.
Our adult services provide ABA and behavior analysis supports through the Medicaid Waiver in homes, day programs, community settings and ICF. Services focus on building functional skills, promoting independence, and supporting meaningful community participation, with oversight from experienced BCBAs.
Our Team Leaders

Dr. Baker Wright, BCBA-D
Dr. Wright is the owner and team leader of BMC, a position he has held since 2015. He earned his Master’s degree with a specialization in Behavior Analysis at East Carolina University in 1998 and then went on to earn his doctorate in 2005 from The Florida State University where he studied under Dr. Jon Bailey. This is also where he was introduced to Dr. Maxin Reiss and BMC in 2000, working with individuals with a variety of ages, disabilities and behavioral needs in homes, schools, and other residential facilities. Dr. Wright continued to work in the Tallahassee area, and expanded BMC’s scope of services into South Georgia and South Alabama, including home services and school district consultation. In addition to the leadership of the BMC team, Dr. Wright continues his clinical work for school districts in Florida, Georgia and Alabama, and provides trainings for a wide variety of audiences and locations across the Southeast. With his co-authors, he researched, developed and wrote AutomaticRtI-Behavior Edition in 2013, which is a comprehensive system and guide for teachers and schools to navigate the RtI system for behavior.
Dr. Wright recently serves on the Executive Committee of the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA), is the President of the Board for the Bradfordville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, is on the board of Goodwill Industries, Big Bend and is on the board of The Learning Pavilion in Tallahassee.

Meredith McMillan, BCBA
Meredith McMillan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the Director of Clinical Services for Behavior Management Consultants in Tallahassee. Originally from Tallahassee, Meredith received her Master of Science in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University. During her time there, she worked in a variety of settings including schools and community settings, provided early intervention services in a preschool setting, and supported adults.
Meredith has a passion for helping others and serving individuals and families in the community. She had the opportunity to volunteer as an early intervention therapist during her undergraduate studies, which sparked a love for providing behavior analysis services. She continues to bring this passion to her work today, supporting individuals and families with a wide range of exceptionalities through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Becky Cassell, BCBA
Becky Cassell is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and serves as the Director of the Practicum Program, as well as the Director of Clinical Operations for Tallahassee. She earned a Master of Science in Family and Child Sciences with a focus on Child Development from Florida State University in 2007, followed by a Master of Science in Psychology with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis in 2013.
Becky has extensive experience working with children in home and school settings and has provided school-based consultation. She currently works at an Intermediate Care Facility and serves as the Clinical Director of an Intensive Behavior Focus Group Home.
In addition to her clinical roles, Becky provides guidance and support to BMC employees pursuing practicum hours toward BCBA certification. She regularly reviews Behavior Analysis Certification Board rules and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and assists in the development of in-house continuing education opportunities for BMC BCBAs. Becky is committed to promoting ethical, appropriate, and effective behavior analytic services within her community.
